I can honestly say that this was the best on-the-job training I’ve had in 20 years. The advice and the TV/radio practice interviews were certainly invaluable, but it really stood out because of the way in which the trainer ran the session. He responded in such a smart, agile way to each individual participant, even though we had quite different projects. He had exactly the right balance between offering specific feedback and helping us to get over more generalised anxiety about media communication. A potentially stressful event was fun, reassuring, enlightening, and totally confidence-boosting.
Chris’ training was brilliant. It was the perfect balance between teaching and practice, with real nuggets of wisdom and useful tips to retain ahead of any media interviews. I could feel myself growing more confident throughout the session, and had more of a concrete understanding of what was needed to give a calm, focused interview on my research. The practice interviews were incredibly useful, and it felt like a safe environment to just give things a go.

The two training sessions that I have attended were outstanding and- critically – very useful. I have attended many coaching of all kinds, and often they felt a total loss of my time. Your media training was enjoyable, pragmatic and motivational.
Strong coaching-based approach to the delivery meant I felt supported and encouraged whilst being given concrete examples on how to improve. The trainer modelled good delivery skills and excellent communication methods throughout. The pace of the course was good and it felt purposeful but never rushed.
Brilliant trainer – made everyone feel really comfortable and allowed people to decide on the style and focus of interviews, while also pushing so that people improved. Everyone has been so positive about what they’ve learnt and far more confident in being a spokesperson for our organisation.
Inside Edge provide a well-structured and clear training programme that puts candidates at ease while still not losing the importance of the training. The coaching is both interactive and personal, achieving a good balance of engagement with the attendees. I highly recommend all senior managers to undertake this training programme. It leaves you feeling like you have genuinely improved your skills and confidence.
This training session was excellent and I gained a wealth of valuable knowledge from it. It struck a perfect balance between theory and practical application. Chris has an incredibly calm and relaxing presence, the training was really useful with practical tips about how to prepare a top line which all of our spokespeople could take away. The scenarios were tailored to our organisation and Chris both encouraged and challenged all of our spokespeople. Everyone finished feeling more confident and really enjoyed the day.
